Am I Happy Now?
I'm actually thinking twice whether to work for Starhub or not...Oh well...
The day started out pretty well...It rained the night before and it was still raining when I was on the way to work...When I reached my office (wow..that sounded cool right..OFFICE), I was the 2nd person to arrive...The admin lady, Ms Rina was the first to arrive...When were about to start, Mr Sudeer told us to focus on how many appointments we want to acheive and work on it! So I told myself to at least get 2 before lunch time...And to my surprise, I GOT 2!!! But one was unsure about the appointment date so I'll have to wait till after the New Year and call him back...
I went for lunch at 12.30...Me, Kiren and Bing Rong went for lunch at this Malay food stall near our workplace(I just realized that there IS a malay food stall there lah...heesshhhh)...After lunch, Kiren went back to the office to get his bag because he needed to go for an appointment at Admiralty...so, me and Bing Rong walked him to the MRT station..we waited for him till the train arrived lah...HAHA...it looked like we were sending him to the airport departure gate...
Anyways...we resumed work at about 2pm...I started to feel tired and sleepy until I managed to get another deal!! YAY...Actually right, I should have 5 lah..but I gave 2 away to Ms Nadya...Cuz I didn't know what to say to the client lah...But it's okay...It's meant for her..not for me but I'm proud of myself... =)
Here's something freakily-funny:
Me: Good afternoon..May I speak to Mr Bong please?
That other person: You call from where ar?
Me: Oh..I'm calling on behalf of Standard Chartered bank..May I speak to Mr Bong please..?
That other person: He passed away already you know...
Me: So sorry..Thank you ar...
Another one...
Me: Hello..May I speak to Mr Khairul?
That other person no. 2: Mr Khairul? He no longer with us..He already passed away...
Me: Oh..I'm so sorry...
and then I asked to let me speak to another director...but in the end he wasn't interested... =(
What I've learnt so far is that..there are nasty people out there..The nasty ones will just hang up on you..the nicer ones will listen to you till you're done talking and then they say they not interested..the ones that listen and really interested..they're the BEST LAH!!! Oh well..I'm gonna stop here for now...I hope to make more appointments tomorrow... =)
