My day out with Mommy!

Hey there cool boys and girls..

I'm back to blog!
What did I do today you may ask?
I went to watch HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3:SENIOR YEAR!
...with my mom!
How cool is that?



I bought tickets to watch the Sing Along screening of the movie. The show began with a performance from 1 of the finalists of "My School Rocks" and then a couple of music videos from High School Musical 1 & 2 followed by a behind-the-scenes featurette on the 3rd instalment. They were also giving away prizes to the most sporting kids. And I shall repeat..KIDS.

I was excited when the emcee said that the show was going to start. Unfortunately, we all had to endure those draggy advertisements(probably about 20 of them) before the show actually began.

Let me give my 2 cents' worth on the movie.
I really enjoyed the song and dance numbers very much. My most favorite scene was of course the one with Ryan and Sharpay. The only thing that I think lacked in the movie was the focus of the film. I thought the prom scene was taken too lightly. Also, the kissing scene between Troy and Gabriella was probably a little too intimate for kids. Sorry if I'm being such a wet blanket here. Nonetheless, the movie moved me especially the last number they performed - High School Musical!

Catch the movie in theatres everywhere!


My mom loved Sharpay so much that she chose to stand next to her.

Hooray! I shall call this week the "Celebrate High School Musical 3: Senior Year" week! Why? 'Cause High School Musical 3 will be premiering in theatres this week! Remember to get your tickets ya?

Anyways, I just got my hands on the movie soundtrack today which I pre-purchased a week ago!



Oh, and how could I forget about my 1 and only Hannah Montana?



You might have probably seen this at CD stores everywhere. The store manager at Sembawang Music Centre was kind enough to have given me this huge standee! I had to carry it back from Plaza Singapura to Redhill. Plus, it was raining the whole way from the train station to my block.

It was the day that I have been anticipating - the CASS Talentime Finals.

I didn't win.

I would be lying if I say that I wasn't disappointed. That's just how competitions are. There will always be 1 winner and the "non-winners". I will just try again next year or something.

I would like to take this moment to thank all my fans who have come to support me last night. It was nice to see all of you guys cheering me on from where I was standing. I had a great time rocking out on stage! This won't be the end you see of me! I will be back next time round performing all my greatest songs in 1 concert!

I'm a DADDY!!!

I gave life to my first daugther today!
She even shares the same birth date as me!
Check out her birth certificate!




Did I forget to mention that she's not a human being?
She's a bear! Not just any bear. She's the LIMITED EDITION HANNAH MONTANA BEAR from the BUILD-A-BEAR WORKSHOP!
I decided to name it Wiley Montana.
It's Wally + Miley together.
To anyone who has not been to the workshop, you guys should go there and make 1!
Her godmother and godfather for now are Jovis and Aqmar who witnessed the birth of my baby. If you want to be Wiley's godparent too, why not?

Ok ok.
it's only the first day of school and I'm still shopping!
I really have to stop shopping or I'll go broke!
I was out yesterday with Syafiqah yesterday and we shopped at Orchard and Bugis. After she and her sis left, I was shopping alone at VivoCity!
I went into almost every shop and looked at the clothes that were on sale.
OMG! I love the shirts at Zara, River Island, Topman etc..
My aim of going there was to get a bag for school.
I kept going in circles and ended buying more clothes instead.
I finally settled for a bag from ZINC which I think is really gorgeous.



Anyways, CAMP ROCK DVD IS OUT!
I had to buy it as I have never seen the film.
Also, while I was at Plaza Singapura today, I bought the soundtrack together with the album presale for the High School Musical 3 soundtrack.
Sometimes being thick skinned is worth it.
I braved myself to go over to the cashier at TS and asked them if they would "sell" to me and Aqmar the High School Musical poster. But since they did not have anymore of it, I asked for a Camp Rock poster instead. Guess what? I got the poster for FREE!
It wasn't my first time getting free poster from them. The last time I used the same tactic to get the Hannah Montana poster and they willingly gave them to me! Talk about being nice!

Nope, I wasn't working at the counter. On our last day of work, me and my colleague decided to slack all day and treated the office like our own home. But then again, we have been slacking all these while.

i am a shoppaholic!

Me and my colleague were bored at work(*as usual).
So we did this.
