When things are going well for you but not for others...

My title sounds kinda serious huh?
Well that's exactly how things are around me.
I shall not elaborate any further on that.

It's been about 10 days since I last blogged.
Of course so many things have happened but they're not worth the read.

1) I got myself another haircut!
Only this time, it's not my usual spiky hairdo.
I've decided to go for a NS boy kinda hairdo.
And I kinda like it =))



2) I got myself a tattoo!
HAHA! it's just airbrush tattoo.
I'm not that crazy as to go get a real one.
It's been 3 days so far and the tattoo is wearing off.



Oh,
I didn't mention that I got the tattoo from attending this Topshop/Topman Fashion Party held at Wisma Atria on March 26th.
I received an email from them about it and they requested us to RSVP(whatever that means..) to them
So I replied to them and I got invited to the event!
Initially I thought it was a fashion show.
But it wasn't.
It was just an event where they had 20% off storewide sale and only invited members get to shop for like 2 hours.
The shop was closed for the public.
I felt like a VIP!
And I didn't go there alone or it would've been so dull.
I went with Aqmar.
He bought a bag and 2 pair of shirts while I got a pair of jeans and 2 pairs of shirts.
We even got goodie bags!
And we got our photos taken like we were on the red carpet.
And seriously it was the first time for me to experience such a thing.
There were even people carrying trays of little pastries and champagne.
I ate the pastries which were so delicious and nope I didn't drink the champagne.
Instead they also served non-alcoholic sodas.
I had fun!
YEAH!
HAHAH

We met with Julaiha at the train station on the way home and took the train.
Of course, I got to alight first.

I'm starting to get tired of the life I'm living in.
You know..
the no-internet-music-ps2-dvd-entertainment life.
I missed the times when I'm bored on a Saturday and I could just sing karaoke.
But now,
I'm running out of things to do.
I photoshopped a couple of pics and I'm dying to upload it here but something's wrong with blogger and the connection here.
SO I shall upload it some other time.

A bowl of fun!

By day I go to work.
But when night falls,
I transform into this ghostly monster with powder all over my face.
Hahah!


This was something I bought from Giant IMM yesterday.
Can't believe they can even have HSM on bread!
Oh man,
why isn't there a Hannah Montana one or something...
Pfft~

Ok..
I went to school yesterday for a meeting.
We're gonna be involved in the planning of the orientation programmes for the freshies!
And guess what?
DMC will not be under school of business anymore.
Instead, it'll be under school of CASS which stands for Cultural Arts and Social Sciences (*I think)
So we need to plan a totally new programme for the year 1s!
Sounds cool and I can't wait to get started with it!

So after the meeting ended,
we went to The Chevrons at Jurong East to bowl!
It's been years since I last bowled and I kinda had a rough start.
But after I got the hang of it, I had a couple of strikes and began to pick up.
I only played for 2 rounds and I took a break as I didn't have enough money for the 3rd one.
All in all,
I enjoyed bowling.
=))

After the game ended, we explored the place.
It's really nice.
And as Aqmar said
"This looks like High School Musical!"
and Jovis was kinda like Sharpay singing Fabulous!
HAHAH

We left the place and walked to IMM.
We visited Iqah who was working.
And her hair is so straight again!
HEHEH
Oh, and RSH is having a sale too!
I'm gonna get one of those VANS shoes when I get my pay next week!

Gosh..
I keep spending money though I'm so tight on budget.
And when I'm broke, I want more money!
Oh well.
I guess that's just me.
I'm a rich-kid-wannabe.
So what?
Alright.

Me and my old blue jeans

I found the bear above at Yami's house.
It's so cute!!

The Hannah Montana dolls I purchased from eBay was delivered to me yesterday!
HOORAY!
I was at home so I received it.
My mum didn't say much about it.
Guess she's kinda used to it by now?

Alright.
I have no more pictures to upload.
So I shall just blog about life.
I've been working for the past 2 days.
It was hell at Guardian as they were doing Stock Taking.
Whatever that means.
We were even opened after 10 yesterday as there were lots to be done.
I requested to leave earlier as I was afraid I would miss the train.
Oh,
the rest of the staffs were busy stock taking and I just had to do cashiering and facing out of products.

Oh,
I'm in the school library now.
Thought of going to the Jurong Regional Library but decided to go to school as I needed to submit my Specialist Dip acceptance form.
Yup.
I got accepted to take the Specialist Diploma in Film and Tv or something.
Seriously, I didn't expect myself to get into it considering my exam results were like crap.
I guess now I'll have to promise myself that I'll work hard this coming year. (Year 2)
Saw a lot of freshies enrolling themselves into the school while I was on the way here.
Oh,
it was raining just now.
and I had to wear my slipper.
I almost slipped!
And it was very embarrassing as there were freshieswalking in the opposite direction and they saw it.
AAARGHHH!!!
Ok..
it's not that big of a deal right.
And I saw the freshies carrying new laptops.
Apparently, this year, they're using Acer and HP laptops.
Unlike last year when it was Fujitsu and Acer.
And the laptops are like so much nicer!!
Oh well.
I want a Nintendo Wii for my Birthday!!

I can't wait for school to start.
I want to start all over.
And I'm gonna make things right.
I thought of writing a special post about things I've gone through in Year 1.
About the people I made friends with.
and the craziest mistakes I made.

So..look out for that I guess.
=))

Anyways, has anyone watched JUNO?
It's a really cool movie!
GO watch it if you haven't.
I just have to say that the girl who played Juno did an awesome job!
Kudos!

Alright.
I think I'm gonna go home now.
Home for me now is just an 8 minutes away train ride.
