LOL = Link Of Love

I apologize for the cheesy title!

I can't believe that I am actually saying this but...

I think I have fallen for this guy :

HAHAHA!
Looks familiar? Well, it's actually Zac Efron playing the character of Link Larkin in Hairspray.

I can't say enough of this but his character is just so lovable in it.
I love that he actually fall for Tracy (the big girl in the movie) and dumped that blonde girl.

And I saw the trailer for 17 Again starring Zac and I think my opinions toward him have somehow changed.

SOMEBODY HELP!!!!

Don't Fit In. Stand Out.

What happens when you put 2 really crazy people?

Ans: You get the best of both worlds!!!

HAHAHHA!!! I just have to use that as an intro for whatever reason.

Thursday, 26th February 2009
I went out with my BFF, Syafiqah!
It's been so long since I last saw her.
Lets see...4 months long?
She said I'm no longer that skinny dude she met last year anymore!
YEAY FOR ME!

We had lunch at where else but Pizza Hut!
It was my idea of course.
Seriously...after working for a month at the Jurong Point outlet, I have been craving for the dishes since forever.
So I had my all time favourite:

Curry Zazzle Baked Rice! It's really nice and spicy!

And then, we went for our movie which was at 4.30pm.
Bumped into an old friend before that.
Oh, the movie we watched was
My Bloody Valentine in 3D!

OMG!!!

The movie is awesome! But was really scary!

It stars this guy from Supernatural. His name's Jensen Ackles.
Oh, and it's also my first time watching an M18 film at a legal age!
HAHAH!
The reason for it given that rating is because of the gore and nudity.
The storyline is somehow cliched but it's the effects that really made it out of this world! I mean seriously..I kinda regretted that it was in 3D because I couldn't take it!
I was screaming and kept tugging onto Syafiqah!
I was not the only one in the theatre to be scared though.
There are people at the back who were shouting and screaming as well.
So yup..
if you want to experience it for yourself, go catch it in cinemas!

Oh, and another 3D movie that I am going to catch is this:

Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience!
At least I will not be screaming and shouting in this one!
I saw the poster at Shaw House!
I can't believe that it is actually going to be shown here!
WOOHOO!!

During the outing, I told Syafiqah a lot of things.
Mostly personal stuff that I couldn't express to anybody else!
HAHAHA
And I'm glad expressed it to her.
LOVE HER LOADS!
And I'm sorry if there are times that we get mad at each other.
But hey, that's what friends do.
They fight, and then they make up again!
WE'LL BE BEST FRIENDS FOREVER!

Alright...on another note,
I recently bought the High School Musical: Remix and High School Musical 2: Extended Dance Edition DVDs!!!
Ok..I already have the HSM 2 DVD but it was the normal version.
I've been eyeing on this one and so when I saw the price dropped by half, I just couldn't resist it!
I can say that I bought it out of impulse?
HAHAHA!
Shopaholic!

That Boys Night In thing you see there is just a special carrier box to keep DVDs in it. I got it free after buying 2 DVDs.

Oh, and I told myself that I will only buy High School Musical 3 DVD if it is the US version and when I found it, I just grabbed it and paid for it!
Though it costs so much more, I guess it's worth it because it's so much nicer and it comes with a bonus Digital Copy which means that I can rip it into the computer and save it in there!

After having bought all 3 DVDs, I had a HSM Movie Marathon last night.
I watched all 3 movies back to back!
It's so nice!

Oh, I was out with my mum to the clinic last week and we were at the neighourhood shops. I saw those Pasar Malam places selling these:

I just bought every Hannah stuff I could find!

Speaking of musicals, I'm going to go for an audition!
Thanks to Julaiha for recommending me to her friend, I'm going to get a shot at fame!
HAHAHA!
I can't wait for it!
Wish me luck!

Oh..more photos from the Class Outing as promised:
Enjoy!!!

Ok..I'm too lazy to upload so much. So for more pictures, go to Lee Yan's blog or Facebook. They should be there!

See you soon!

you make me want to forget about it and start all over

Hey Ya'll!!!

I AM BACK!!!
Hmm..it seems like there has not been any visitor since my previous entry.
Nah..it's ok.
I understand that you guys are busy with exams and stuff right?

I do log onto my MSN Messenger everyday/night to check my email and stuff but I haven't got the time to actually blog. Alright, alright..you caught me there. I'm just a LAZY BUM when it comes to blogging...

Can't blame me..I'm just a boy!

Anywhos...

I HAD MY LAST EXAM TODAY!!!
And I also found out that it is my LAST EXAM EVER in POLY!!!
And...it's also the LAST DAY that I get to be a YEAR 2 student.
When school starts, me and along with everybody else will become SENIORS!!!!
WOOHOO!!!
I'm just that close to wearing the graduation outfit that you see the High School Musical cast are wearing in the picture above!

Exams have been tough. I thought the first and the last paper were the better ones. I didn't like the 2nd paper which was the PR module. It was so tough that I was so bored doing it.
Oh, and I realise that even doing the paper can be tiring.
I had to keep cracking my knuckles a few times as my hands were tired.

BUT IT'S OVER NOW!!!
TIME FOR CELEBRATION!!

And my class did just that when we had a class gathering at our dear lecturer - Ms Kwa's house. Let me tell you...her house is not just an ordinary HDB flat.
It is a condominium situated very near to Parkway Parade.

(sorry for the bad image quality)

For privacy and security purpose, I can't reveal the exact location of her house.
But nonetheless, her house was FANTABULOUS!
Her house is like my dream home!
She has a WII and a GIANT SCREEN TV!
HOW COOL IS THAT???

Oh, our celebration did not take place at her house but at the function room. When you mention a condominium's function room, you would be thinking that it would be a small room hidden at some corner right? But we were so wrong when we saw this:

THIS IS THE FUNCTION ROOM!
It looks like the Judges' Mansion from AMERICAN IDOL!
I really, really loved the place.

The highlight of the day was when played games as a class as a way to bond everybody.
We played this NUMBERS game which I have no idea what it is called.
Then there were some dares given.

MY GOD!!!
It was hilarious to see my classmates having to do silly things like "pretending she was dancing in a club", "a girl proposing to a guy"...and..A GUY SINGING A LOVE SONG TO ANOTHER GUY!
Just when I thought that I would get to run away from the dares, it happened to me.
Well..actually it was someone else's dare but it involved me.

Here's the thing:
A guy was dared to cuddle another member of the opposite sex. HOWEVER, the players suggested that it would be more fun if he does it to another guy who has not been dared yet which was me. It was kinda scary because I HAVE NEVER EVER EVER EVER hugged a guy that close in my life. Plus, he just grabbed me and I was literally screaming away. I know...the reaction was kinda wrong.
So...yeah...I was shivering after the incident because I thought it was kinda traumatizing.
HAHAHAH
I was such a weakling...=P

We had a sinfully delicious chocolate cake and took more photos after that.
Ms Kwa then drove us to Paya Lebar MRT Station where we then took the train home by ourselves.

It was kinda sad when we look back and realize that 2 years have gone by.
It's like we were just entering first year yesterday!
Time flies really fast!

Ok..enough of the sad bits,
I have stuff to give away actually:

TO ALL ZAC EFRON, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL OR JONAS BROTHERS FANS:
If you missed last year's October issue of Teenage Magazine, don't worry because I have 4 to give away!

(Though you see 5 here, but I am keeping 1 for myself)
The coverboy is Zac while the posters are High School Musical and Jonas Brothers!
If you want a copy of it, just say it on my tagboard!
It's that SIMPLE!

Alright...I will be back to post up more pictures with regards to the gathering we had today.
So..look out for it.

Till next time,
CIAO!

drowning

I bought the Hannah Montana Season 1 DVD the other day.
There are 26 episodes altogether.
It took me 3 days to finish watching all of them.
After watching them back to back, I've made a few observations:

- Miley's acting has improved a lot since the very first episode.
- She literally grew up from the very first episode to the second episode.
- The Other Side Of Me is a song used a lot in the episodes.
- I had to watch the opening titles 26 times but I never get sick of Best Of Both Worlds
- The episode can somehow link to Hannah's songs for that particular episode.
- The show gets funnier and funnier!

Also, I like the show because there are lessons to be learnt:
- good friends don't bail on you.
- if you fight fire with fire, you get a bigger fire.

Ok..right now I just can't think of other lessons but I'm sure there are more to come.

What you're about to read next has no relation whatsover to Hannah Montana.

I learnt from a friend about another friend who has stopped trusting people.
I thought it was bombastic but I can see why that person has chosen to be that way.
It's true, you can't trust anybody.
Sometimes, I don't even trust myself.
Like if you were to tell me a huge secret, I might have the urge to tell it to somebody else.
But sometimes I can keep secrets.
Just like what I've been doing all these while.
But I was really disappointed when I just found out that I've been betrayed.
Well..at least that's how I see it.

And I think that I'm going to be friends with this new person that I've met.
How do I know that?
It's because I feel that we should spend a longer time getting to know each other.
All my prejudgements were wrong.
I think everyone deserves a second chance.

Alright...I'm tired of blogging.
See you again (Or if you don't ever want to see me again, it's ok because I've had enough of your nonsense! =P)

BFF's Day Out!

11 February 2009

I was bored. After all the hardwork put in the day before, I decided to give myself a break. And a gift as well.
I texted Yami and met up with her.
We had lunch at BK and off we went to Orchard.
I had to make a stop at HMV and I got myself a Camp Rock 2009 calender for $2.95 only! and a set of Hannah Montana DVDs.

The calender was such a good buy! It was the last one there and I guess they were clearing the stocks. Even the High School Musical calenders were selling cheap.
And to think that I bought the calenders from there months before for $15 more!
PFFT~

Camp Rock calender and Hannah Montana DVD.

Then we went to Kinokuniya where Yami got herself Japanese magazines and photo books.
Wow...they were really expensive. But she got them anyways as she really like the coverboys a lot.

After all that, I was hungry and so we went to eat Smashed Chicken Rice! Hahah...in Malay it's called Ayam Penyet.
And then, we had dessert at McDonald's where I bought myself a Double Chocolate Frappe which tasted like alcohol. I'm not lying. It does taste like alcohol though I have never tasted it before. Freaky~

Yami with a photobook of a Japanese singer. The shots inside are mostly of him on the beach, topless...etc etc. If you're interested on those things, you know where to go.

The drink that had an alcohol-y taste. Try it if you dare!

I love spending the day with Yami.
I could tell her everything.
All my secrets.
So if one day she decides to reveal them all, I'm so dead!
HAHAH!

A Polytechnic Musical

10th February 2009

What a bizarre day for all year 2 DMC student from Singapore Polytechnic!
It's our event day!
Preparations for this event began as early as November last year and it finally happened on this date.
I couldn't believe my eyes.
To see all our hardwork being put up there is just so enlightening.
And to think that I woke up at 6am that day for it is just so wow!

Oh, our group was also involved in the mass segment of the show.
Which meant that we were the ONLY group out of the whole cohort to do a performance that day.
So we did our own rendition of "I WANT IT ALL" from HSM 3.
Only this time, it was called "WE WANT YOU!"
It was so much fun though I kept forgetting the dance steps but I managed to cover it up with my moves.
HAHAH!
Words alone don't say much.
You've got to see the photos!

This picture was taken after the whole event. But this is how the classroom we used for the event looked like.

Our lovely participants!!! All 16 of them. Not even 1 missing!
Most of them are from Hua Yi! YEAY! My secondary school! Go Hua Yi Go!!

The 7 of us taking our last photos before the entire show. I tried to look cool.

What's happening to Aileen?

I don't know why I did that. And Aileen looks pretty! Ok..everyone was fantabulous!

Everyone was smiling in the picture. But I wasn't. HAHAH!

Our event poster! YAHOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Our logistics officer - Lee Yan. Making sure that the tables are neat.

Priya - the assistant to Lee Yan. Make sures the cloth are taped to the tables.

Aileen and Me having our Sharpay and Ryan moment.

That blurred black figure is Jovis. She was trying to ruin our picture.

During the preparations, our 2 ladies were busy putting up posters.

Taping the stage to the ground. Creative huh?

We were lucky to have our very own make - up artist! Aileen was dolled up!

Look at our set! Really cool!

Doesn't that background look familiar? Well..think Hannah.

Our stage and curtains!! So grand!

Oh, I put these up. Really cute!

This is a gigantic mask that Priya brought from home. It spells masquerade all over!

Oh, I forgot to mention that the entire event was called Communications 101 but for our own segments, it was called BROADWAY - After Media Calls. That explains all the curtains and the grand atmosphere that you see from the photos.

Wish you were there??

Though we had a lot of miscommunication and little feuds during the rehearsals, I guess everything have been put to rest as of now.

But wait! Some matters just don't sleep.
It will be discussed during MBS.
What's that you ask?
That's a secret I will never tell.

Oh, and I realize that I just love performing.
Well...
you can ask my team mates about this.
While we were clearing up the room after the event, I blasted music from the laptop and it was playing broadway songs that we've picked out.
And I just love the song from HAIRSPRAY entitled You Can't Stop The Beat!
It was just so catchy that I couldn't help but dance to it.
I was practically twisting and turning, running from one end of the room to the other end and pretending like I was on the stage that was used in the Hannah Montana 3D Concert!
At that moment, I really was imagining myself singing and dancing to thousands of screaming fans!

You know what they say:
The game will never be over,
Because we're keeping the dream alive!

the other side that I can never see

I've got a lot to say.
But to keep them short and simple, I'm going to break it up into a few posts.
It increases the number of posts I have and at the same time convey the messages to you!

This post might not be pleasing to read but I just have to rant about this.
Remember the TV Studio Management project I had? The one about the LIVE TV show? Well, it's all over now. I tried my best but I still I was to blame for everything.

People blame ME for messing it up when obviously, it has never been my intention. I have been trying so hard to be a perfect Producer but I just suck at it. It's not that I never tried, it's just that, I'm not there yet. I should say that credit for most of the work goes to Me, Jovis, Samantha and Matt. Samantha and Matt worked hard editing the footages and creating the visuals. I'm really proud of you guys!

The night before our LIVE show assignment, me and Jovis stayed up in school till late trying to figure out the bloody tape recorder machine. It was stupid because the recorder didn't record the audio and stuff. We were already so tired and yet we had to stay in school till late.

I have to admit that I'm the type that get stressed out too easily when I'm doing things for the first time. Becoming the producer is my first time. I've never had any experience doing it whatsoever. After the whole thing ended, I tried to take everything as it is. I mean...there was nothing we could do about it but to just let it go right? What's done is done.

Some people were in tears while others just put the blame on others.
Though I know that everybody hates me for being a sucky leader, I'm just gonna be the man that I am and take responsibility for everything.
Yup...you can put the blame on me.

HEAR THAT SUCKERS!!!!!!

Quickie Post!

Hey there everybody it's a beautiful day!
LOL!

I know..pretty lame introduction.
Well..I haven't got any pictures to load up to show it to you guys.
Nevertheless, this post is not going to bore you!
Trust me!(*if you find it hard, I can understand because even I can't trust myself!)

Since the last time I blogged which was like 1 week ago, my life has been a rollercoaster.

Let's see...I'm getting clumsier at work but at the same time, making little improvements. Well, I think I'm making improvements.
=P

I'm starting to learn to just smile about it each time that I break any glasses, plates, whatsoever. It pissed me off a little when I was accused of breaking plates when I don't think I was the one who did it in the first place!

When I worked last Saturday, I felt it was the busiest time for me. I was really tired and I had to take the last bus home. To add on to my misery, my mp3 died on me so I had to take the long bus ride without music. BORING! Thankfully, I managed to find people who were willing enough to chat with me via sms. Thanks!

Remember how I said that taking orders is scary. Well...it isn't that scary when you're doing it during the non-peak period. It was pretty alright until it got to a point where 4 or 5 groups of customers enter at the same time and were ready to order at the same time as well. I made a couple of careless mistakes when I was keying in the orders into the system because I got too worked up over it too quickly.

Sigh..sometimes I wonder why am I so lame to waste my energy getting stressed over little things.

I can never say this enough but the newfound friends at my new workplace are really nice and friendly. It was normal for me to just talk to former colleagues whom I've met for the first time and felt like we've known each other for very long. However, there are times when I feel like I should just keep quiet. I mean..i'm still new there. I shouldn't overtalk myself right?

Oh well..let's get back to school.
So many things to do this week.
Mostly rehearsals for our event that's happening next Tuesday.
I apologize if I get a little fierce during the rehearsals.
I just suck at controlling my temper.
I don't mean to scold any of my team mates.
I just want everything to be perfect.
That's all.

And we're having a LIVE 10 Minute show this Friday for the TVSM CA3.
Gosh..
this is something that I think is worth stressing for.
Putting a LIVE show together is not as easy as it looks.
There are a lot of preparations that need to be done beforehand.
As the writer and producer of the show, I would say that I wouldn't want to be the people in the control room in the future. It's very pressurising.

However, I don't mind becoming the cameraman or floor manager.
(***Or even still, the talent!)
But after becoming the talent for my friend's similar production, it's even more stressful to be the talent as you need to look out for cues and stuff.
I was the host and I couldn't memorize the script.
Yeah..
so much for being in drama.

Moral of the story: I'm still a noob at these things. I need to work harder the next time!

I do not have any picture to leave you with.
But I have this to say:

"Actually...I don't have anything else to say! =P"

BYE BYE!
