Geek in the Pink...
Hahaz..I couldn't think of any other creative way to say 'hello' so that came to mind...
Anyways..I woke up at 8.30am today...and as usual, I was trying not to wake up lah..But oh well..Oh..in case you're wondering why my blog title for today is *look above*, it's because I wore a pink shirt over a long sleeved black shirt...also..I couldn't think of anything else related to today...
On my way to work, I listened to The Morning Express Show on Class 95..Flying Dutchman and Glenn Ong were so funny lah!! Sometimes, their jokes made me laugh and then people would stare..MALU SEH!!
Before we start work this morning, AGAIN Mr Sudeer gave us a briefing...It's the same thing again..'FOCUS' on how many appointments I want to make...SO I actually tried out what he told me to do lah..which is PLAN my time..AND you know what?? It worked!! I made 2 appointments before lunchtime! I was SOOOO motivated lah...
Then..we went for lunch..
When we came back, I made more calls but most of them were either on holiday or were not interested...For those who were away, I told their secretary I would call back after Christmas...The hours passed and still no appointments made..But I was positive..Then at about 2.30-3, Mr Ryan took us to coffee(I had soya bean though..hehe)...We all talked a bit..we talked about school and stuff...And then we resumed work..
When it was near to 6pm, I started to feel tired..SO to keep myself enthusiastic, I started to greet the people on the phone with 'Merry Christmas!! May I speak to....'It was fun..and I did put my Japanese knowledge into use when it comes to Japanese directors...I greeted them 'Konbawa' and then 'Arigatou Gozaimas'!! Ok lah..that's all I know for Japanese...
Anyways..before we went home, Mr Sudeer asked us again bout how many appointments we got to arrange..Both me and Bing Rong made 2 each..And he told me something that made me SOOOOOO happy lah!!!
Mr Sudeer: Oh..now you and him balance already..Very Good..You're really learning...
Me: HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!*smile infinitely*
I'm so proud of myself!!
I'm planning to stay up late tonight cause I have 3 days OFF!!
Oh by the way, I'm not gonna turn up for the Starhub job tomorrow...At first I thought of calling Mr Parry but oh well forget it...I won't make a difference anyway...
Before I end this, I read Iqah's blog about me having braces and wearing a Batman suit..I think it's COOL!!! I actually wanna be Spider-man ar but hey..I can't control her dream..can I?? Also..my buddy Estrella will be joining me for work on Tuesday!! I'm SOOOOO HAPPY!!! At least I have a friend to work with me!!!
