I'm Gonna Soak Up The Sun!
Honestly right, I don't get what it means to soak up the sun...I just think it sounds cool cause it didn't rain today!! YAY!! But the water was still freezing cold lah but each time I felt like complaining...I'll think of Titanic...(Because the water was thousand times colder..!!)
Today, I reached Tanjong Pagar half and hour earlier but I chose to walk around the Tanjong Pagar area for a while before going to the office..I went to FairPrice to get Oreo cookies and drinks...When I reached the office at exactly 10am, the rest of them were there already...
Mr Ryan gave us 5 lists of numbers to call..This is better than yesterday's and the previous day ones cause these are really business people...So I called them one by one...Most of them were interested..most of them were not...I managed to do lots of faxing today..There were some potential ones but they told me to call them back again so I'll call them back tomorrow...I almost got to make an appointment today with a client...He fit all the other criterias except for the company's turnover part...He earns less than 200K last year so not eligible...Man...You know what?? Actually right, it's not my fault if these people don't want the loan cause I've spoke to them nicely and all but they still don't want...And if they decide not to make an appointment, it's also not my fault what??
By 5pm, I was so tired and sleepy lah..By 5.30, I've finished calling everyone and decided to stop ar..Bing Rong and Kiren were still working..I felt wrong lah but what could I do? The directors in my lists are not there so I stop lah. Then before we were dismissed, Mr Sudeer talked to us...Kiren got about 2 appointments(I think..)..Bing Rong got 5 and I got NONE!!! He told me that I should not pressurized myself so much lah...But I can't help it...When the rest of them got something, it's just natural for me to feel like 'Wow...they're so lucky..I feel so dumb lah..' So he told me to come to work tomorrow and do better than today...
I really hope I can clinch a deal(ok...MANY DEALS) tomorrow ar..More $$
Talking about money, while I was working, I received a call on my mobile..As I was on the phone calling the other people, I didn't pick up the call...So, I called back and thought that she was a director I called earlier but was not available..So I told her:
Me: Hello..My name is Syawal calling on behalf of Standard Chartered...I'm here to talk about the Business Instalment Loan we're offering..
Her: Huh?? I'm from a job agency...
Then I remembered it's the agency I went to before I went for this Telemarketing interview...So she told me there's an admin job at Tuas..the pay's much higher than this and it's a 5 and a half day job....I think I wanna try admin but at the same time, I'm gonna miss my colleagues at this current job...Oh..I think I wanna quit the Starhub job ar...Cannot take it man..But I guess I'm gonna turn up for work this Saturday and probably at the end of the day, If I make NO sale, I'll probably speak to 'Fairy' that I wanna quit ar...
Ok ok...I guess I'm gonna write till here today..
