Le Tour de Johor Bahru..(don't ask me what Le Tour means..)
Earlier today(Saturday), I went to Johor Bahru(JB)...I woke up at 12noon today cause I slept very late the night before and decided to pamper myself by waking up late..=)
Anyways..Me, my mum, along with Yami's parents set off to JB at around 4pm...Initially, our purpose of going there was to collect my mum's dresses which she sent for tailoring(is that the right word?)...But then the lady there said her dress wasn't ready yet cause of the floods in Malaysia which caused a delay so it would be ready only by next week...So, we went to Carrefour(Until today, I don't know the right way to pronounce this word...either 'Care-four' or 'Car-foo')..The place was big..We shopped for groceries...My mum was looking for this Ali Cafe coffee..It's actually coffee with Ginseng and Tongkat Ali(It's scientific name is Eurycoma Longifolia..HAHA..I'm so familiar with the drink that I even know it's scientific name!)...Not just that, there's a promotion lah..If you purchase a packet of Ali Cafe, you can get a free Mug with Mawi on it..Me and my mum are huge fan of Mawi...It's ok if you don't know who he is..He's just a male version of Siti Nurhaliza...
I got other stuffs too..I managed to buy a pack of 3 bubble gums..shhhh!
And then before we left the place, I dropped by a CD store to buy Bawang Merah Bawang Putih VCDs...It's an Indonesian drama series(kinda like Korean drama serials) about 2 sisters..The direct translation of the title is 'Red Onion and White Onion(Garlic)'...Their real names are Siska and Alya but it's so funny that their friends call them Red Onion and Garlic! Plus, their favourite colours are Red and White respectively..The bad sister is the Red Onion and the nice one is Garlic...Haha..Imagine your friend calling you Potato or Tomato!! Ok ok..so I bought 2 boxes of the VCDs..from eps 1-30..I'm planning to watch it later in the day...
Moving on...we then went to XTRA..it's kinda like Giant and Carrefour but it's a Malaysian version..There, we went to buy more stuff again..Oh, Jays, if you're reading this..just wanna tell you that when I entered the store, they were playing Swear It Again by you-know-who...
After that, we went to have dinner at a nearby coffee shop..(well it's a cross between restaurant and coffee shop..I don't know what I should call it)..
My observation for today is that if you think the toilets in Singapore are dirty, wait till you go to JB..it's totally 'unbelievable'! Hmm...what else do I wanna say...?
Oh..do you guys know the song Irreplaceable by Beyonce?? Well..I think the song is nice! But..I don't relate to it that much...Cause in that song right, Beyonce talks about her boyfriend who had been cheating on her and finally she told her to leave..but the guy told her that she won't find another guy like him but she said..don't think he is irreplaceable...Irreplaceable means can't be replaced right?? To me right, the title means something like..I love someone but no matter what happens, no one can replace her...Oh well..
Anyways...the holidays are near...I mean Xmas is on Monday..I don't celebrate it but I just enjoy the festive season...! I love CNY, Deepavali and..HARI RAYA!!! Speaking of which, Next Sunday is Hari Raya Haji!
I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!
Ok then..I'm so sleepy..
