My Christmas presents!!
Ok..today I went to Orchard Road...I know it's crazy to go there on Christmas eve cause there's so many people!!! Our main intention of going there was actually to buy a new mobile phone for my mum cause she happened to get a $100 voucher from Starhub and it expires today so we decided to buy a phone..We went to the Starhub shop in Plaza Singapura..At first, we didn't know which phone to buy cause there weren't many on display...But then, I wanted the NOKIA N73 phone..and you know what? We bought it! I mean..my mum bought it...for me!! Actually I knew it already cause I was sure she wouldn't know how to use the phone anyways..HEHE...Ok lah..it's kinda complicated for me as well..I have to read the manual again..
After we left Starhub...my mum told me she wanted to get a perfume for herself..so I told her why not we go to Isetan at Shaw House where they have more choices so we took the train from Dhoby Ghout to Orchard..Man it was PACKED!!
When we were in Isetan, my mum told me to get ARAMIS brand of perfume..She told me the smell is really nice and all but when the salesperson let me sample it, I didn't like it...So i went to the TOMMY HILFIGER perfume area..The guy there let me sample DKNY fragrances..the bottle is in the shape of an apple..I didn't quite like the smell..SO I told the person I wanted the TRUE STAR MEN one..cause a few months ago I bought the same perfume from the same store but after I moved into another house, I think I left my almost full bottle of perfume in the closet..!! Until now, I can't find it...! SO I asked my mum to get me a new one but this time, it comes with a free TRUE STAR GOLD for women..I wanted to get this badly cause I love the shape of the bottles and the celebs that model for them..Enrique and Beyonce!! I asked the salesperson whether it's okay if I wear the TRUE STAR GOLD one..and he said it's ok!! I agree as well because no one can actually tell who's wearing the perfume when you're in a crowded area right?? Ok ok..enough of promoting TOMMY HILFIGER perfumes..
After that we went straight home because we didn't want to miss watching this talent show from Malaysia called 'Mentor vs Bintang Cari Bintang'..
Actually right, Mentor is the show from Malaysia where contestants get to train with Superstars like Siti Nurhaliza!! Each contestant gets one Mentor..Btw, the contestants are called Protege(proh-te-jay)...Someone already won the Malaysian version which is this rocker guy called Fiq and his mentor is this guy called Amy from and 80s rock band called Search..Meanwhile, in Indonesia, the show is called 'Bintang Cari Bintang' or 'Stars searching Stars'..it's the same format...And the winner happens to be this girl whose mentor is DIVA Inul Daratista...For people who loves Dangdut music, Inul is a familiar name..And I guess you guys probably know that Dangdut music comes from Indonesia..So it's no surprise that Inul's protege, Ima won the contest..Dangdut music is actually kinda like a dance music but their dance can get quite obscene and explicit...So the show I watched just now right is actually to bring the 2 champs together and compete...The event was held in Malaysia...I find it was unfair..Cause Fiq(the Malaysian champ) won tonight's show! I mean..it was Rock vs Dangdut...And Malaysia preferred Rock music to Dangdut music..! WHATEVER!! I'm sorry if I wrote so much today..!!
Btw, I was in the bus today and I saw this guy wearing EXTREMELY SHORT SHORTS!!! I mean..it'll look hot on a girl but for a guy..er...#####
