A Busy Me...
Let's just skip all the intros and stuff and move on with my 1 week review...
Monday, 22nd January 2007...
As usual...got those sickening Monday blues...You know my the kind of job I'm doing rite? It's not really easy to get 'quality' appointments...I mean the numbers given were not even useful! My bosses kept telling us that the leads are good and stuff...but hey..It's still the wrong numbers, the not-in-use...and the wrong places. I called a school and went to look for the Math teacher...and then I called the hospital and was looking for a nurse...like what the hell..=(...I remembered Kiren didn't come in for work on that day so I was left alone to entertain myself...
At the end of the day, I managed to get 8 appointments..BUT...my bosses only counted 5 of them cause the rest of them were like 'not genuine enough'...whatever...=((..I admit I was kinda desperate that I had to kinda like fake the dates and stuff...Oh well..I left 5 minutes early though...cause I thought I got 8...but I thought wrong...
Tuesday, 23rd January 2007...
We had to come in for work at 9.30am because apparently, boss needed to speak to us. I arrived about 9.25am..so I was early rite? BUT, boss said I was a few minutes late but was the earliest to arrive among the other 3 staffs...what the hell!!!! He was talking bout boring stuff as usual...Told us things that we weren't supposed to know like him not being able to sleep well at night..SO?? He spent about 1 hour talking bout all these silly stuff that we've heard like for dozens of times...!!! The message is always the same but the way he tells it seems to be twisted here and there...He was saying about putting in more effort in order to make genuine appointments..I guess, it wasn't really my day. I was having a bad stomachache...so I had to tell him that I was sick and went home. I just didn't have the mood to make calls cause I was pissed with the whole thing. When I got home, I slept all the way till 7pm...got up, eat a little and watch loads of television.
Wednesday, 24th January 2007...
Let's see what I can remember about today. Well, I can't remember much but all I know is that I got angry. I mean, we were going for lunch-Me, Kiren, Rina and her un-named friend. I wasn't in a good mood. At first they thought of eating at the Malay stall near our workplace. But then decided to eat at BK. I told them it was too expensive to eat at BK. I mean, I ate there before but I can't possibly buy lunch there like all the time right? Then, Kiren punched me in the stomach as he was joking bout something. I was so pissed, I pushed his arms away. Then, after buying my food, I apologized to him. I didn't mean to do that but I don't know what got into me. Oh by the way, boss finally let us watch this video on 24 sales technique or something like that. It's a really old video..like 70s or 80s. The show was like so yesterday...the people were dressed in very off-beat dresses..really big glasses...nicely combed hair...I can't remember the sales technique but I can remember the name of the person aka the motivator- Brian Tracy.
Thursday, 25th January 2007...
Let's see...what happened today..OH..a pal of mine, Shih Hui joined the company. It was kinda cool. I didn't really talk much to her because boss would be watching. Anyways, I got angry again. It was about 5+..I couldn't get appointments. I was pasting a post-it onto the wall. I was trying to relax(as always) so I was doing it really slowly. And then, boss came and said "I'll paste this for you. Your job is to call."..I just went "URGHHHHHH!!!"..and he said..."Why? You not happy with me ar?"...I was like 'oh shit lah..I can lose my job...'.."No lah..I'm angry with the post-it."...And while he was walking away, I said out loud.."I'm angry at you 1%"..and he laughed. Er......??? By the way, in 1 day itself i drank 4 bottles of Fruit Tree juice. Here's the photo to prove it.
Friday, 26th January 2007...
Finally, my favourite day of the week!!! I guess every schooling and working people will be looking forward to this day. When I came, Rina and her 2 friends were there already. FYI, her previous friend who came last week was so called 'fired'. Boss thinks she can't do the job and decided to terminate her. She got 2 more friends to join as telemarketer but they not doing BIL but selling water filters...Before lunchtime, I got 1 appointment. And since then, I got none. Shih Hui on the other hand was doing pretty well. She ended up making 4 appointments! I'm proud of her because she's really serious about the job..By the way, on Wednesday, after we finished work boss told us that he was not happy with us cause we only made 25 submissions in January. He added that it was really low and stuff. SO, he told us that from 25th Jan - 31st Jan, if we can make 75 quality appointments, he'll treat us to lunch at his wife's restaurant. I admit it's insane but I just have to agree with him and tell him yes we can get 75 in 5 days. I mean, it's really crazy of him lah! Honestly, we seriously can't force people to take up this loan if they don't want to right? No matter how many times you force them, it'll never work! But he kepts saying that we should be positive and s**t...WHATEVER! TO him right, every minute, you must keep making calls...and it can get really irritating sometimes. Wait a minute, it's irritating EVERYTIME! Oh well..I don't really care so much about that lunch in the restaurant. If he's really sincere, don't need to wait for us to get 75 appointments right? Plus, I'm once again going on a diet again! I've been running on the threadmill everyday for 20-30 minutes and doing sit-ups and push-ups. I'm trying not to eat too much.
Saturday, 27th January 2007...
I woke up really late today..My colleague, Kak or apparently, Makcik Nadya, came to my house cause we were giving her my old computer. I know some people would think I'm being hypocritical but hey, I think she's not what we thought she was! I mean, she's seriously funny. When we got to her house, we karaoke-ed for a while. But I must say, her singing voice is quite funny-sounded manly! It's deep lah. After that, we went to Orchard Road cause I wanted to get new clothes from TOPMAN! My favourite brand! I got a sweater, a jacket, a pair of jeans, a belt and a tie! I spent about 170 buckeroos! It was supposed to be from my pay ar but it wasn't enough. So I had to pay by NETS using my mum's card. I told her I would pay her back after I get my 2nd pay which will be in about 2 weeks time! Can't wait! I guess right, I shouldn't really judge someone if I don't really know them in detail. I mean, whatever my other colleagues thought of Nadya is quite bad ar. Sometimes, she does say the wrong things and stuff. But, I guess, we should stop gossipping about her. I know I can't tell this to my other colleagues. I think I should as far as possible, avoid talking about Nadya behind her back. Not just her, anyone! I guess it's something that we sometimes enjoy doing. And I'm not afraid to say that I have talked bad about someone behind their backs. It's just part of life. It's sinful, but still we enjoy doing it, don't we?

What a waste of money! The queen of cheap (that's me) should've known better.
Most of my pimples cleared up, but there's still one whitehead left on my forehead.
I guess I've learned my lesson: Stick to the cheap face cream I've been using for more than 10 years. There is no magic in a bottle.

I LOVE TYRA BANKS! She's really pretty and funny! I just watched her movie 'Life-size' opposite an/a 11/12 year old Lindsay Lohan. Basically, if you don't know 'bout the movie, it's actually bout Tyra, being a doll called Eve who came to life by accident. Lindsay plays Casey. She wanted to get her dead mother to come back by doing some magic but instead, the magic worked on Eve, a doll who was losing popularity. It's a nice movie to watch with the family because it's the cliched heartwarming and blah blah blah kinda story.
I also watched A Walk To Remember. Starring Mandy Moore and Shane West. This movie was out in 2002. I know I'm really slow to only review it now. But hey, I didn't really understand it before. I felt it was too mushy. But it's really sweet. Mandy Moore plays Jamie Sullivan, the reverand's daughter and Shane West plays Landon Carter, a high school dude who's just the totally opposite of Jamie's character. They fell in love somehow and then tragedy sets in. Anyone who's in love or not in love should watch this! You can get this on VCD or DVD!
I'm gonna end my post..but I'm gonna leave you with what Professor Haikiroyonotosan from Class 95 said:
"Never marry for money because you can borrow it at a cheaper rate!"
Perhaps I should tell that to the people I call...
