so much drama, so little time!
Sorry to keep you guys who read my blog waiting. I've been busy with work for the whole week that I haven't got time to update. As usual, there were so many things that happened but I can't remember all of them. Let me just try to write what I can remember. Hmm...
Monday, 15th January...
I hate Mondays...didn't feel like waking up. Let's see...It was fine. To my surprise, when I arrived at work, Jack and Nadya were already there. Usually, they're the ones who are always late. I arrived at about 10.05am. It was on purpose. I like to walk around the areas of Tanjong Pagar Plaza before I start work. We didn't get new lists of numbers so I had to recycle my old lists. When it was lunch time, boss was talking to Jack. I heard boss saying to him 'You come in late and go home early' or something like that. Anyways..before we left for the day, boss talked to us..as always.
Boss: I noticed you guys have been coming later and later. Last time you came first and I felt so malu(embarrased) cause I made you all wait. But now what happened??
Me: *thoughts* like duh..who wants to go early...I mean I should lah..but sometimes, the train is just packed lah!!!
Then he told us that we should be motivated and crap. He said that Jack is always motivated when he comes to work. Like whatever!
Tuesday, 16th January...
I can't remember what happened before lunch. But while I was at BK having lunch, Rina sms-ed me. She said Jack was terminated yesterday(Monday). We were shock and happy lah. I mean, at first boss praised him but then he's fired?? So when we went back to office, Kiren asked me to ask boss about Jack. I can't really remember what he said. But it's something like...'He's supposed to be the team leader but he don't have the qualities so I can't keep him in the company'...Till now, we still don't know when Jack got fired. During lunch? or..after that long dreadful speech before we left for the day..
Wednesday, 17th January...
I remember there's people who came for interview today. There was a man about in his 50s who came. Usually right, when people come for interview, they have to fill up a form. But this uncle, he skipped that and asked my boss whether what we're doing is like legal. Or something like that. I mean..I was supposed to be busy right??
After that, we kinda had a discussion with our boss. We confessed about what we weren't happy about with work and the people. I shall not say more. In the end, we slacked throughout the day.
Thursday, 18th January...
Today, boss added some new incentives.
5 appointments made=$15
7 appointments made=can go home early at enytime
8 appointments made=$30 + go home early(usual $25)
10 appointments made=$50 + go home early(usual $35)
Cool eh?? Well...I made 8 appointments. Well...sorta...I didn't fake any...I think.
But in any case, I still get my money and my off day. But then, before we left, Ryan checked the leads I made. He said mine wasn't genuine cuz I wrote there 'Must check accounts first, confirm next week' and 'Confirm in Feb'. I told him..'But If I let them go now, I can't get them again right??' It's okay if you can't really understand what I said. But he said he'll let me off. Phew~!
By the way, it was raining that day. Any you know what? It was flooding outside my workplace. I have the photos to prove it...
See that cab? It was stuck there for about 30 minutes I think. The water covered half of the taxi's tyre!
Friday, 19th January...
I had to wake up 1 hour earlier than usual today cause work started at 9am. It was special cause Ryan told us we would be having a 'challenge'. We've been told that we would get new leads(I like to call it lists of numbers though) so we can sure make a lot of appointments. We would be challenging with Ryan and Mayna. But in the end, both of them came late (about 11.30 or something..) So there was no contest at all. Oh, I forgot, the contest is to see who can make the most appointments. On our way to work, Kiren came up with lots of names for the contest. 'Telemarketing Idol', 'The Amazing Calls', 'Survivor: Outwit, Outcall and Outlast' and a few more.
In the end, I made 8 appointments! We went home at 2pm cause at 3pm, there was training for the door to door sales...
Today, Saturday, 20th January, I just stayed at home. I woke up very late today cause I slept late last night. I cooked fried spaghetti with corned beef. Delicioso!!
Anyways...I'm gonna tell you guys some news, quotes and stuff I heard the whole week from Class 95 Morning Express Show with The Flying Dutchman and Glenn Ong. They're really funny!!!

Bollywood couple Abhishek Bachan and Aishwarya Rai have just got engaged last week! I just heard from the radio today that newspapers in India are warning Abhishek Bachan saying that Aishwarya Rai will bring bad luck to him. This has to do with the horoscope thingy or something. But, the familis have already arranged her to 'marry' a Banana tree before marrying Abhishek. Er..Imagine that!
Britney Spears is rumored to be pregnant again! But is it K-Fed's child? I'm not sure. She just can't stop can she?
They look so sweet right?? Haiz..hope they'll get back together.
Justin Timberlake has broken up with Cameron Diaz. Finally! But he is now rumored to be dating Scarlett Johannson...Gosh...=((
