So much to update, so little time...
It's been about a week since I last update my blog..so there's really so much to talk about. Actually right, I have forgotten all the things that I wanna tell all of you so I'm just gonna write what I can remember...
I didn't tell you guys that we have this new staff in our office. I can't mention his name though. I guess he's such a lazy bum lah..He comes to work late, and goes home early. He's not doing telemarketing but doing door-to-door sales. He's supposed to be doing door-to-door but I keep seeing him in our office everyday..sometimes, he don't even come to work AT ALL!!!! By the way, last Monday, we got our pay!! My pay for December is only $324 but I'm happy =)! Though you might say it's very little, but can you really earn that amount of money by staying at home?? Oh, I've also changed my table. I was told to sit facing the window because that new staff needs space to do his work on my table. Since then, me, Kiren and Bing Rong could not stop laughing lah! Actually, Bing Rong didn't laugh that much compared to me and Kiren. We were being very lame. Making fun of almost everything and everyone. Like...
PATRICK!!! This was actually a balloon given to Kiren by his girlfriend. The air is gone so I pasted the airless balloon on the window. So,everyday, while making calls, I have to face it! Apparently, Kiren says Patrick's bottom look like someone's head! Someone in our office that is. SHHHHHHH...enough said. For the few days, we were laughing and laughing and laughing! Work became fun!!!
Oh, yesterday, Nadya, our most senior staff invited us to have lunch with her. During lunch,....
Nadya: Eh, you all know ar..I went to this Jurong Shipyard you know..When I go there, about 20 bangla men look at me! Then I see the boss, very handsome like Shah Rukh Khan so I say never mind lah.
Me: *thoughts* My God lah..she already told me that before lah..
Apparently, she already told me this story before. She even told Kiren twice before and at first it was Sembawang shipyard and now it became Jurong Shipyard.
Then we have this officer from Standard Chartered Bank called Mayna. But she calls her Mynah. And the way she pronounces Mynah is so funny lah. She sounded serious but at the same time sounded very wrong. Oh, do you know that Mynah is a bird? Just saying cause some people might not know. So..I guess, my office is full of colorful and funny people! I have a laughing disease so once I laugh, I can't stop!
Today, Friday, my boss let us go home early if me and Rina can get 5 appointments each. I had to fake some of the appointments lah. And to get my 5th one, I asked Syafiqah for help. She called my office and pretend to be Miss Anne Chua.
Me: Hello, Business Link.
Iqah: Hi. I received a missed call.
Me: Your name ma'am.
Iqah: Anne Chua from S'pore Uniform CO.
Me: Hmm..wait ar..*pretends to search for her name when it's right in front of me!* Oh..I see it. Ms Anne Chua right?
Iqah: Yes.
Me: Oh..I'm calling on behalf of *you know the bank* and I'm offering a *you know the loan*. Are you interested in taking up the loan?
Iqah: Hmm...I'm interested.
Me: *Explains all the details* So ma'am, can I get a few details from you?
Iqah: Sure.
Me: Have long has your business been established?
Iqah: 10 years.
Me: Wow...that's very long(sounded really fake). Er..how bout your company's turnover?
Iqah: Sorry?? *question mark, question mark, question mark*
Me: Is it more than 200K? (I didn't tell her what turnover means on the phone cause every businessmen/women knows the word TURNOVER!
Iqah: Yes...about 350K..
Me: *ask her all the other questions*...Ok. So, when do you want the appointment to be?
Iqah: Hmm..next week? Between Wednesday to Friday? After lunch.
Me: Let's make it Friday, after lunch. Your address ma'am?
Iqah: Er..you make it up...
Me: 10, Tuas Tech Park Crescent. Ok ma'am. I'll call you again next week. Bye.
Iqah: Bye!
So..thanks to Iqah, I got to go back 3 hours earlier!!! I went to meet Yami at Jurong Point. Went to eat, and shop. Bought the Lilo & Stitch DVD and My Scene Goes Hollywood DVD. WOOHOO!!! I'm going to stay up till late to watch the movies!!

That smiley was actually a gift from Mdm Yeo for 'O' levels. It's an eraser. It was kinda like a good luck charm to all Physics students. But for this shoot, it was my model. Even Tyra Banks cannot pose like that!
