Not so lucky!

HOla!!! Those are the lyrics to the song..er..I'm not sure actually but I know it's sung by Kylie Minogue..it's an 80s song..And now that I'm working full time at the Buffet Club, I always listen to 80s music because obviously, most of the people there of a different era..
Well...for a start..I'M NO LONGER WORKING FOR BUSINESS LINK!!! YAY???
I felt sad initially cuz when I look around the office, I'll think about the days when everyone was still there...gossipping..laughing..and all that drama...But I need to move on...
So now I'm working from 9am to 6pm..I wanted to go online for the last few days but I felt so tired and sleepy because I need to get up at 7.30 everyday..
Anyways..a few things happened this week..
On Monday, I was in the Business Link office..'working'...But you know..when I'm bored of calling SMEs, I'll call radio stations..So..I tried calling POWER 98...I wasn't really listening to it but I sort of overheard it on air cuz Ella(the manicurist) on the radio loud enough for me to hear..There was some contest...SO I got through and spoke to SUPER MARIO...He's not the game...he's the dj..All I had to do to win was to say :
POWER 98 ROCKS MY WORLD!!!!
And then he asked me about my job..and I won like this $50 cd hamper or something..so now I have to go down to their office to collect it...
Well...there's always new people joining my new workplace..the main reason is that most of them kept going Missing in Action!!! I don't know why they ran away cuz I don't think this job is too tough...probably it really feels bad when you can't make any sale...
There's this new member joining us..He talks alot..but does nothing...What I mean is..He bragged about him coming to Singapore from Melbourne and blah blah blah...
He also had experience in sales...but until today, he does not even make 1 sale...I'm not looking down on him..but stop bragging already!!! And trust me..he does it everyday..=(
I made 1 sale on Monday..Hehe...THanks to this particular guy..I actually sold to him the more expensive package because he enjoys travelling so he wants more free days and nights to stay in the hotel...It was really nice talking to him..
On Tuesday, I made 1 more sale...Thanks to this lady..At first she told me she don't dine out..and don't have time to travel..She spends her time making money and stuff..so I did a lot of sweet talking and in the end she said "Ok lah..I join your club.." These are the few words that's really nice to hear..It rocks!!! It really motivates you...
TOday however, I didn't get any sale at all...Well..I realized that the sales were like almost there..but then the person trying to be mean to me..making my life hard..SO I guess it's really not my day...But hey..I'm gonna look on the bright side cuz tomorrow's a new day! It really surprises me how my other senior colleagues manage to get 3 or 4 sales in a day...Like there's this lady, Lilian, whenever she calls, she'll be like so enthusiastic and after that, she will definitely close the deal! That's like WOW!!! Plus, she's really loud...
But I guess in sales, there's always it's UPS and DOWNS...I guess it's a down for me today..But I won't give up..
Oh..we're actually competing with each other to go to Conrad hotel next tuesday cuz there's gonna be some function...TO be able to go to the event, we must have at least 3 sales in a week...I don't mind if I don't get to go though...
Ok folks..here's a few stories I wanna share with you guys..
There's this lady..she went to the plastic surgeon for liposuction on her thighs...But then..after the surgery, she realized that 1 of her butt cheeks was missing..Apparently, the surgeon accidentally sucked out the fats in her buttocks!! HAHAHA!!! THis is a true story anyway...In the end, she got 12,000 pounds...which is about S$36,000 I suppose...But I seriously don't think money can buy you another butt..can it?
Are there any more interesting stories that I wanna share?? Hmm...I don't think so...
So..I guess..NEVER EVER GO FOR PLASTIC SURGERY just to correct your nose lah..your boobs lah...Be grateful with what you have...
