17 going on 70!

No...


It ain't my birthday.


70 are the number of posts I have so far.


Pretty little considering that I started this blog in December 2006.





Alright.


I've been wanting to blog days earlier but was too sick.


I was damn sick on Deepavali but I still went to work coz we get paid more during holidays..(i think..=X)


I worked yesterday with Aunty Margaret and will be going to work later on and working with Jays.


I realized that working with the more senior staffs at Guardian isn't that bad.


I was quite scared initially.


But it was alright.


I spent close to 1 hr 30 mins outside of the store yesterday as I had to go to IMM to collect dental floss.


Yup..


We're plus selling those this week and I have to collect more coz we don't have enough in our store.


I finally learnt how to deal with credit card transactions!


HOORAY!


Before this, each time I see a credit card, I'll be so scared that I feel like hiding behind the counter.


After Aunty Margaret taught me how to deal with it, it's quite simple.


And I also learnt how to do closing.


I still need more practise though.


But all in all, I like my workplace.


In fact, I LOVE IT!


HOO HOO HOORAY!





Alright alright...


So I went to the bank just now to get myself a debit card.


Yup!


Once you're 17, you can apply for a Mastercard debit card!


How cool is that??


I need the card so that I could verify my Paypal account and finally be able to pay stuff I purchase from eBay on my own.


Before, I used to go to SingPost and use their cashier's check service to sent payments overseas.


I've also tried Western Union.


That one, you need to pay a high amount for its transaction fees.


And recently, I got someone with a Paypal account to help me pay for the Hannah Montana doll I ordered.


Oh..

Earlier on, I got some of her 'friends'..


Gabriella, Ryan and Sharpay. Yup..the Gabriella is still Troy-less.

And very much earlier, I bought this Justin Timberlake marionette.
A marionette is like a puppet thing.
This was released in 2000 during the Bye Bye Bye days.
And I got him at a reasonable price too from a Singaporean!

And these are my Spider-man collection!
The middle one which is the Peter Parker action figure is a rare memorabilia.
It took me years to finally find someone who has it.
I got it like for half the original price.
I got it this year from someone at Vivo whom I met up with.

Alright..so much for the information.

I have to go now.
I'll see you when I see you =)

er sick sick sick =(

My cat in the washing machine last night.


I woke up this morning and felt sick-ish...


Was supposed to meet up with my DMC friends to do IDEAS project but I was too sick-ish.


What the hell ar...


And so I went to school today for the Newswriting test.


It was quite alright.


Tomorrow will be the Web Publishing test on HTML.


I hope I can do it though..


I considered the changing of blogskin yesterday as part of my practise.


But it was obviously different.
Oh kay...

Alrighty!
Gonna go mug for tomorrow's test.

A new skin...finally!

HEY HEY HEY!





WAZZUP???





Yup..


I've finally changed my blogskin after God knows how long..


I didn't want to part from the previous skin because I kinda grew to like it after a while.


But I'm kinda proud of myself cause this time, I changed the skin all by myself!


The last time, Syafiqah had to help me with it cause I didn't know how to do the html stuff.


Now, I don't have a choice but to figure it out on my own.


And it's kinda fun.


I hope you guys won't have anymore problems accessing it.


Some still have problem tagging though(ok..only 1 person had the problem..and it's Jays)


But heck ar..


I don't know how to solve it.


I'm not gonna add songs or anything cause It's only gonna make the blog become more lag..


Oh yea..I'm just gonna briefly blog about work and what happened in school today.


Working with Julaiha and Syafiqah for the last 2 days rock!


It was fun..


But then again, we had to make sure that we don't always stick together or else the senior staff won't be happy about it.


We met with a few weird customers like this old man who came up to me and ask for breast enhancing cream (or stuff to make IT bigger...)


I was like...err..


then I 'gave' him to Syafiqah to handle...


Me and Jays were laughing in the storeroom the whole time he was in the shop.





Oh..and I realize that older men love buying condoms.


Especially on Saturdays..hahah


There was even one who bought a strawberry flavoured one.


Ooh...kinky!





Alright alright...





Let's talk about today..


Well..I had my econs test and man..I think I'm gonna do badly for it.


But heck ar..


I'm gonna study harder for the exams.


I'm gonna make sure that I understand the freakin' chapters!



Afterwards, we went to eat at foodcourt 3.


Oh, and Felicia Chin and Desmond Koh came to our school as part of a new programme about campus food.


And yup!


They ate the very famous chicken rice!


The chicken rice rock!


I LOVE CHICKEN RICE!!


POK POK POKE!


I thought of telling Felicia that I use Silkygirl products too!(Silky for Men actually..)


But realized it's gonna be too corny.


HAHAH!


It happened once with Adrian Pang and I'm not gonna let history repeats itself..

Idol Mania!

Yo Yo!

Hahah...

I have things to share with you guys today...

I left home around 5pm as I need to pay some bills.

I was quite bored so I didn't want to just pay the bills at Bukit Gombak. I then decided to take the train to maybe Boon Lay. So I took the train.

While I was like walking to the train station, I saw that the train's coming in 1 minute and that the next one will arrive in 8 mins.

So I ran up the stairs.

By the time I got into the train, I was panting silently.

At first I was standing and then I saw an empty seat.

So I sat down.

Then I didn't feel right.

I had that "i'm about to faint" kinda feeling.

I was like saying "oh shit oh shit" in my heart.

Then it happened.

First, my hearing became how should I explain it..erm..

well...the noise becomes further and further from me.

Ok..that doesn't sound grammatically right but you know what I mean.

Then..my vision darken..

Literally yes!

I was like blind for 2 minutes?..Ok..it was from Bukit Batok to Jurong East. Do the math.

I was quite scared.

It was dark when I closed my eyes.

And dark when I opened them.

I could still remember how things looked man.

This is probably the worst I've had so far.

I thought of asking the person next to me for help but didn't dare.

So I didn't alight at Jurong East.

After I felt better, I alighted at Choa Chu Kang to pay the bills.

I then immediately grabbed a curry puff from old chang kee.

I then went to a couple of cd shops there.

Then I decided to go to HMV Heeren.

So I took the train to Somerset.

I stood all the way while watching videos I converted from my mobile phone

I reached there around 7pm and left around 7.45pm.

I didn't know what to get.

Till I saw 2008 calenders!

There were a few like My Chemical Romance, Kylie, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce but Gwen Stefani's calender caught my eye!

I didn't know whether I should get it or not so I just continued walking around and probably come back to get it later.

While I was at the 3rd floor which is where the DVDs are, I saw the High School Musical calenders, Spongebob Squarepants and Shrek.

But then I was like thinking whether to ask them if they have Hannah's calender.

While I was on my way to the cashier to ask them, I saw the Hannah Montana calenders with the High School Musical calenders on the left.

I was like "SAY WHAT???!!!!???!!!" in my heart.

I didn't think twice about getting it.

I just took 1 from the back and voila!

I also took the Hannah Montana karaoke cd and Taufik's new cd!

Yea!

Both are my favourite singers!

Taufik rocks seriously!

Come to think of it, he deserved to win Singapore Idol!

WOOHOO!

GO TAUFIK!

Crazy!

Hey people..


It's me again.


Blogging at this hour.


Why?


Cause I just completed 2 of my e-learning assignments due today : NewsWriting and Web Publishing.


I thought I couldn't do WP at all but I managed to pull through.


And why am I not asleep yet?


Cause I'm waiting to watch SpongeBob Squarepants at 5am on TVU.


There's a couple of things that I'm gonna blog about.


Like my trip to Vivo with my peeps yesterday..


It was alright.


We had to go to a couple of shops and evaluate them as part of our IDEAS project.


So I had delicious ice-cream from Ben & Jerry's because we're evaluating them.


And then we kinda got a little distracted and went to look at clothes.


We also saw a few MediaCorp celebrities in the OSIM shop.


And then Adam Chen just walked past us but I didn't notice him until my friends mentioned it.


We then took the train home from HarbourFront station.


It was like a 1 hour train ride.





I'm actually quite tired to blog too much.
