It's Party TIme!

What's up Drama Kings, Queens, Popstars and fellow Rockstars!

I am back to blog!
I shall make it quick so as to not bore you guys so much =P

First and foremost,
the grueling mid-semester test week is over and it's time to party like a rockstar!
I was this close to disaster when I studied the wrong chapters for my Organisational Management paper!
One of the chapter tested was Organisational Culture.
I got mixed up and I studied Organisational Structure.
I memorised the info like crazy just to find out that I was wrong!
But thanks to Jovis and Lee Yan, they loan me their notes and I quickly memorised the important details.
PHEW~

Let's talk about today...
I'm SO HAPPY!
The long awaited Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best Of Both Worlds Concert CD is already available in CD stores!

But I'm disappointed that it didn't come together with the DVD like the ones they sold in the US.
=(
I also bought the Artist Karaoke Series : Miley Cyrus album.
It's so cool so now I can karaoke to tracks like See You Again, Eastnorthumberlandhigh and Start All Over!

I made my way to Orchard Cineleisure to check out the live-sized standees of the High School Musical cast.

And boy they looked FABULOUS!
I can't wait to watch the movie!
YEAH!

I'm gonna be busy this weekend as I'll be working.
I have so many things to do but haven't completed them yet.
The best part is that, school's starting next week!
On the positive side, I don't have to work so much.
On the negative side, I have more school work to complete!

But I always believe that if you:

"Mix it all together, and you know that it's the best of both worlds!"

The Best of a Rockstar's World!

Thanks Jovis for exposing me.
I guess I won't be blogging about the previous post.
Because I need to let you guys in on everything that happened during the Hannah Montana You Can Be A Popstar event!

Let's see...
Me and Aqmar arrived at Ngee Ann City around 2pm yesterday.
I was so excited when I saw the big lorry they had.
There were lots of little kids..mostly girls.
I went to get myself registered.
Initially, me and Aqmar wanted to try singing together but if we were to do that, we will not get 1 CD each.
And since we want to have our very own CD, we decided to sing separately.

We were given 2 hours to rehearse our songs.
Aqmar decided on Best Of Both Worlds while I decided on Rockstar.
There were only 2 songs to choose.
Obviously, it wasn't that difficult.
While waiting for our turn to record our songs, I tried to answer questions.
The emcee for the event was this lady called Dennis.
She has appeared on TV before.
I remember her from House Of Chow.
She played Andrew Lim's sister.

Anyways...
we took a photo with her minutes before we queued up to go into the 'recording studio'.
When I told her that I wanted to take a photo with her, she sounded surprised.
I guess she thought that nobody knew who she was.

While me and Aqmar were in the queue, there was a television playing the 2 Hannah songs that we've chosen.
It was supposed to help you rehearse before recording.
We made friends with the lady in charge of managing the people in the queue.
She wanted me to put on the Hannah wig.
I admit I am a HUGE fan but to wear the wig in the middle of Orchard Road is just weird.

My queue number was 202..Aqmar's was 201.
So he got to go up and get his photo taken first.
Then it was MY turn.
I went in..
CREW: Hello..
ME: Hi!
CREW: I heard you're a big fan..
ME: YEAH!

They then asked what accessories I wanted.
I chose the shades and the microphone.
And just like that, my photo was taken!
and then I said this..
ME: Erm..can I just like try the wig just for the fun of it..
CREW: Of course..!
And he got me the blonde wig and put it on for me..
CREW: At least we don't have to tie your hair since it's so short..
LOL?

I did the Hannah poses..
like..gosh..what was I thinking right??
And then they even asked me to wave to my 'fans' who were outside..
AND I WAVED!
AARGHHHH!!!
But I have to admit..it was fun!

After the photoshoot, I went into the recording studio.
They first did a soundcheck and I began to sing..
They stopped halfway and asked why..
They said the sound was loud enough that we can just go for the real recording.
And so I sang.
The songs were in the original key and boy was it high.
I was literally screaming at the top of my lungs!

We then had to wait to collect our albums.
While waiting, we watched the kids play games.

I went home with 2 goody bags..

She's super nice and friendly!

happens this Saturday, 21st June at 9pm!

The first issue of the Hannah Montana magazine is out!
Available at all bookstores and 7-11 islandwide!

It comes with free stickers!

Right now, I have that many goggles!

I had so much fun yesterday!
Thanks Aqmar for going with me or else I would be all alone to make a fool out of myself..
HAHAH!
I'm quite honored that we were the only 2 guys there who were brave enough to record the songs!
Who said that Hannah is just for girls?
Oh,
and if you have Disney Channel, you might just see us on television.
So what are you waiting for?

Write me some fabulous!

Get creative and make up your own storyline based on the photos you see here!
You can write me your summary in the tagboard or you can email me and I'll put up your story on the blog.
Eg: it might be a day in Hawaii where 4 people have escaped from the Woodbridge hospital
OR it's a scene from the local version of High School Musical!
Get the idea?



















































I'm not forcing you to write the story.
Why would I want to add more workload to you right?
I will write the entire sequence when I've unlazed myself.
