3 more days to Raya!
Hey there...
I'm back with another post. Gonna make this a quick one.
I've been sick this entire week. So sick that I had to skip work last Wednesday and was not able to fast for 2 days! Sigh...
I received my pay yesterday I think and I treated myself by getting a haircut, buying a gift for my mum and went on a High School Musical shopping frenzy! Check out what I bought:

"M" by Mariah Carey perfume for Mommy!

Magazines for myself!
I got the perfume at the perfume shop at Far East where they sell original perfumes for half the original price. The retail price for the one I bought is $116. I got it for $53!! Talk about a good deal!
As for the magazines, I was at the magazines section at Kino Takashimaya. When I saw the First magazine, I just grabbed it. And as you can see, I grabbed more magazines including the Camp Rock Official Magazine! Honestly, I have yet to see the film but I think it rocks! I've listened to the songs and they're nice. From now on, I guess I will have 2 magazines to buy each month...Hannah Montana and Camp Rock...$$$
Raya is in a few days and I'm anticipating its arrival. I'm suddenly geared up for Raya that I'm making sure the house I'm staying at now will be all glammed up! I'm not trying to show off to anyone except for those sickening relatives of mine who have kinda like despised us. I am planning to stay at home on the first day and wait for them to come. I want this year's Raya to be memorable and for good things to happen.
Yesterday, while I was having my break at work, I braved myself and called my brother. I called him during last year's Raya and asked him to visit us but he never did. When I spoke to him, I was tearing. I told him that we are now putting up at grandma's place and asked if he would visit us. He said he will come on the morning of the first day of Raya along with his wife and kids. I'm excited and hopes that this time, he keeps his words.
Big Boys DO Cry
I was listening to radio while at work last Thursday. The DJ had a segment where she would try to call people who are missed by their family members and tries reuniting them over the airwaves. I couldn't help but cry when I was listening to a pair of mother and daughter who have been separated for years because of a misunderstanding. I was facing the window the whole time I was crying as I was with another male colleague and it'll be embarassing to cry in front of him. Actually, I wasn't the only there who wept. He was sobbing too. Amazing how the story of real individuals can make you shed tears.
That's all for tonight.
I'll be back soon to bring you the latest scoops of the everday happennings.
see ya!
