I don't mean to be mean but...

Me in the Mosquito head!
Trying to be as original as possible, I shall name this post as EPISODE 1.
it's been exactly 2 weeks since I last officially blogged. A MILLION APOLOGIES for those who have been waiting for a new post.
Just so you know, the pictures that I might be uploading below are similar to those that you will see on Aqmar's, Aileen's, Jovis' and Lee Yan's blogs. I don't have any pictures taken by myself as my Nokia N73 is down. PFFT~
D' Media Challenge
I have been keeping myself busy with the FaceOff@D' Media Club event. As one of the Game Masters, my task was to think of the rules, the materials for the game and a few others. The planning process was grueling but we had fun. How can we not when we got to have food sponsored by the lecturers, got to ride in their cars and etc? Of course the downside was that we had to stay back in school till like 8pm everyday and the sight of everybody else getting to go home early was depressing. The experience brought us together to the lecturers that we've never been close with before. They are actually like us! NAUSEATING! LOL.

Our famous jumping shots.

I look like I'm dancing.

I'm SoOoOoOoOoO Tall!

Our beloved lecturers - Mr "Nauseating" Dioni and Ms "Equally Nauseating" Christina Lum.

We were supposed to give seductive looks.

Ready for a Mad Hatter party!

???
On the actual day, I was supposed to be the voiceover for the mascot. Picture this, a mascot with a shark body, mosquito head and bear gloves. Sounds scary to you? I don't think so. It was the segment where the Mascot aka the Villain King would crash the lecture and scare the students. We thought they would enjoy it. They did except for a student who had an asthma attack and was very traumatized. I don't blame the student anymore. What I was dissapointed is that the matter wasn't handled properly. We couldn't go on with the segment because of 1 person. I couldn't finish my part of the show which led me feeling depressed and got me to break down in front of my friends and lecturer. I kept feeling like a ghost. You know, when you have an unfinished business. Oh wells, the rest of the day were ok I guess since we got to bring home lots of food (*think 14 McChicken and half a dozen of canned coke). That's just some of the perks of being the crew I guess. I guess, all our hardwork somewhat paid off.
Anti-Piracy Video

I love this shot! We looked ourselves.
In case you haven't heard, our group came out tops for "The Media Challenge - Anti-Piracy Video" competition held in school. We got to meet the CEO of the Motion Picture Association of America(MPAA)! How cool is that?? He came to our school and presented the award to us. We'll be meeting the people from Mark Burnett productions..you know the same people who did Survivor and The Amazing Race? If I meet him in person, I'm going to tell him that I love The Amazing Race and I think it's brilliant! Yeay to us!
TC Gets Confused

2nd from left: Flora!
Last Wednesday, my CCA, Theatre Compass staged our performance called TC Gets Confused. It's a rip-off from Whose Line Is It Anyway. As I've expected, not many people came. I wish many could've seen our hardwork put on stage but oh well. I was glad to see my secondary school friends whom I have invited being part of the audience. Thanks Petrina, Shu Hui and Charmaine! For those of you who didn't know what it was about, my part of the show was like a mini-musical and it was called "Meet The Psychiatrist". I played a psychiatrist who had an affair with a gay man. I consult my patients through song numbers. At the end of it, my pants were dropped revealing my SpongeBob Squarepants boxers. GO FIGURE!
I guess that's a lot for Episode 1. Will blog more once I receive more pictures when everybody else.
PS: I've received my Hannah Montana 3D concert DVD from the US! I shall say that she didn't really pop up in front of your eyes. But you feel like you're in the show somehow.
Love, Me.
